Woodard is Fairest of the Fair

FAIREST OF THE FAIR – Trinity Woodard was crowned Fairest of the Fair at the Benton County Fair on Monday night.

Many Benton County beauties gathered on Monday night, Aug. 22, for the annual Fairest of the Fair pageants. Senior Trinity Woodard took home the crown, sash, and trophy as 2022’s Fairest of the Fair. Laiken Medlin was named first maid and Faith Wallace was named second maid in the same contest.

The Fairest of the Fair contest is for young ladies ages 16-21. Woodard is the daughter of Michael and Kim Woodard. Medlin is the daughter of Chris and Amanda Medlin. Wallace is the daughter of Mike and Melissa Baker and Jeremy Wallace. All three beauties attend Camden Central High School.

In the Junior Miss Fairest of the Fair pageant, for girls ages 12-15, Lexi Lynch was crowned Queen. Lynch is the daughter of Joe and Heather Lynch. Brooke Armour, daughter of Monica Armour, was named first maid. Jaylin Peebles, daughter of Jason and Jessica Peebles, was named second maid. 

For the Junior Fairest of the Fair competition, for girls ages 9-11, Eden Holladay won the Queen’s crown. Her court includes Sydney Blackburn as first maid and Hadley Jones as second maid. Holladay is the daughter of ???, Blackburn is the daughter of Adam and Nicole Blackburn, and Jones is the daughter of Andrew and Kayla Jones.

Bobby “Flash” Melton was emcee for the night’s ceremonies. A total of 44 young ladies participated in the three pageants held on Monday night. For more pictures of the Fairest of the Fair pageants, see page ?A.
