Tim Wiseman, of Camden, won the fall football contest for week eleven, correctly picking 15 of 16 games for the week. Trailing behind Wiseman was a gang of contestants who each picked 13 of 16 games correctly. This gang included Danny Gilbert, Randy Gilbreth, Ranson Goodman, Mike Hensley, Alice Hicks, and Todd Sharpe.

The only game Wiseman got wrong last week was the college contest between Notre Dame and Syracuse. Gilbreth was in good company on this miss – every single player in last week’s contest picked Syracuse to win, but Notre Dame surprised them all by claiming the game 41-24.

Goodman claimed the right answer for the tie-break question, although it could not help him to a win. The week’s highest score came in the game at Gleason, where Lake County routed the home team with a score of 54 points to Gleason’s 6.

It is getting late in the season with only a few more weeks to play, so be sure to check out the week 12 contest on page 2B of this paper. Any cancelled games will be counted as correct answers.

The $25 weekly winner’s prize could be yours if you get the most picks, so test your skills and pick 16 winners in the week 12 lineup. Don’t forget to mark an answer for the tie-break question, and be sure to get your completed form to The Chronicle office by Friday at 5 p.m.
