William H. Hargrove 1937-2020

William Hamilton Hargrove, 83, of Camden, passed away Wednesday, July 29, at Life Care of Bruceton. Funeral services were held Saturday, Aug. 1, at 11 a.m., at Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Camden with Michael Butler and Arzell Douglas officiating. Burial followed at Crossroads Cemetery. Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home of Camden was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hargrove was born June 30, 1937, to the late Jessie Hargrove and Claudine Walker Hargrove. He was retired from Chem-Metals, a retired farmer, former director of Benton County CO-OP, was on the Board of Directors with Benton County Farm Bureau, a member of Camden Masonic Lodge #179, a member of Mt. Carmel Eastern Star, and a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Vada M. Douglas Hargrove, two brothers, Paul R., and Jessie Hargrove, Jr., and one great-grandchild.

He is survived by two sons, Ed (Joni) Hargrove, of Erin, and Steve (Michelle) Hargrove, of Camden; two daughters, Nancy A. (Lloyd) Bell, of Newburn, and Betty (Bobby) Hartley, of Paris; six brothers, James (Debbie) Hargrove, Sam (Linda) Hargrove, and George (Reba) Hargrove, all of Camden, Pete (Flo) Hargrove, of Bruceton, Danny (Lucy) Hargrove, of Hollow Rock, and Wayne Hargrove, of Memphis; two sisters, Lou (Marshall) Hicks, of Camden, and Blondell (Donnie) Allen, of Holladay; seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
