Two Camden residents found deceased on Monday

Two bodies were reportedly found in a home on Vicksburg Ave. after a welfare check call came in to authorities early Monday morning.

According to the TBI, at the request of 24th District Attorney Matt Stowe, Agents along with the Camden Police Department are conducting a death investigation at a home in the 100 block of Vicksburg Avenue in Camden.  Two individuals, both residents, were found deceased inside.

The TBI said, “As this remains an active and ongoing investigation, we are unable to release additional information at this time.”

Local investigators asked residents to remain calm and reported this as an isolated incident. A person of interest is reportedly in custody.
