Apparently this week’s football games brought few surprises as almost every entry did well.
A three-way tie for first place was settled by the high point tiebreaker.
Todd Sharpe beat out Danny Gilbert and Tim Wiseman, the top three pickers of the week. All three were right on 14 of the 16 contest games but Wiseman’s prediction of 56 as the most points any one team would score secured first place. Crockett County scored 61 in a big win for the Cavaliers.
One apparent upset was Hollow Rock-Bruceton over Middleton. Another stumper for a few was Auburn over Texas A&M.
The game winners, in order of appearance in the contest: Crockett County, Waverly, Camden, Huntingdon, McKenzie, Hollow Rock-Bruceton, West Carroll, Riverside, Milan, Covington, Fairview, Haywood County, Peabody, LSU, Auburn and Florida.
Two poor souls picked Tennessee to upset Florida.
There is a new contest this week. Enter to win.
