The 63rd annual Fiddlers’ Jamboree is Easter weekend

Easter weekend will play host to the 63rd annual Old Time Bluegrass and Fiddlers’ Jamboree at Holladay School. On Friday, April 19, A 7 p.m. Variety Show will kick off the event.

Saturday morning, activities will get started with the Parade at 10:30 a.m., followed by the famous Jamboree Bar-B-Q served in the school cafeteria beginning at 11:30 a.m. through 6 p.m.

The contest will begin at 1 p.m.

There will be more than $6,000 in cash payouts in 15 categories. The contest includes categories from fiddlers in various ages, to buck dancing, harmonica, guitar, banjo, square dancing, clogging, and mandolin.

Held annually for more than half a century, the Old Time Bluegrass and Fiddlers’ Jamboree takes place every third Saturday in April. Event goers can look forward to jam sessions outside, with the contest in the school gym.
