St. Mary’s Catholic Church changes holiday mass time

Posted

St. Mary’s Catholic Church’s annual Christmas mass primarily held at midnight through the years will make the switch to 8 p.m. this year, according to Herbert Ene, Pastor.

Pat Baloga said she agreed with the time change because midnight was so late for families and older parishioners. “We will start our special hour of music at 7 p.m.,” Baloga said. “As in year’s past, Pam, Allen and Tyler Warren will be special guests during our special music.” This will be a special treat for those in attendance, Tyler Warren is fresh off of his tour with Queen.

Office Manager, Debbie O’Bryant said everyone from every denomination is invited to attended the Christmas Eve Mass. “We want everyone to feel free to join us for a wonderful night of music and Mass,” she said.

This will be a permanent change for the catholic church.

The Christmas Day Mass will be at 10:45 a.m.
