A Camden woman is being held on $500,000 bond after an alleged assault on two others in the Holladay area on Thursday, according to Sheriff Kenny Christopher.

The sheriff said Yolanda Boggs, 37, is facing attempted second-degree murder charges after she allegedly assaulted a male and female at the Finish Line Truck Wash on Hwy. 641 near the interstate.

A witness said around 1:15 p.m., Boggs tried to drive over a man and a woman in the parking lot of the truck washing facility.

There was no word on motive.

In addition to criminal attempt at second-degree murder, she has also been charged with four counts of aggravated assault.

The Tennessee Highway Patrol initially started the investigation, but according to Christopher, the sheriff’s department has now taken over the case.

Boggs is being held in the Benton County Jail.
