Non-region game at Riverside this Friday
Camden’s Lions jumped on region foe Cheatham County quick enroute to a 35-14 victory at home. The Lions took a 14-0 lead and never looked back as they stretched that lead to 22-7 at the half and 35-7 into the fourth quarter.
The Lions had trouble in the first half covering the agile Cub receivers but remedied that at intermission. “We changed to a cover-2 defense in the second half,” said Lion head coach William Blow. “They were doing some things we had not seen on film.”
Camden goes on the road to Riverside this Friday and the coaches would love to see a big Camden crowd to cheer them on in this rivalry game.
“Riverside is a good football team,” said Blow. “Coach Frost and his staff do a great job having their guys prepared every Friday night.”
