Notice is hereby given that on November 5th  of  2025, letters of administration in respect of the estate of Karen Darlene Stockdale, who died June 3, 2025, were issued to the undersigned by the Chancery Court of Benton County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above-named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred:

(1)       (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this Notice to Creditors at least sixty (60) days before date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or

TRUSTEE'S NOTICE OF SALE

WHEREAS, Rejoice O. Morgan, by Deed of Trust dated January 20, 2022, and recorded in the Register's Office of Benton County, Tennessee, in Record Book 371, Page 235, conveyed to W. Kent Jones, Trustee, and subsequently to John W. Whitworth, by instrument of record in Record Book 428, Page 1230, in the Register’s Office of Benton County, Tennessee, the hereinafter described real estate to secure the payment of a certain installment note and any renewals thereof; and

WHEREAS, default has been made in the payment of the indebtedness and the holder of the note has declared the entire amount due and payable as provided in the Deed of Trust.  The Trustee has been directed to foreclose the Deed of Trust in accordance with the terms thereof and the public is hereby notified that the undersigned Trustee will sell hereinafter described real estate at public auction to the highest and best bidder, for cash in hand, at the North door of the Courthouse in the Town of Camden, Tennessee, at 10:00 a.m. on December 15, 2025. This sale is subject to all matters shown on any applicable recorded plat; any unpaid taxes; any restrictive covenants, easements, or setback lines that may be applicable; any statutory rights or redemption of any governmental agency, state or federal; any prior liens or encumbrances as well as any priority created by a fixture filing; and to any matter that an accurate survey of the premises might disclose.  In addition, the following parties may claim an interest in the above-referenced property:

The sale held pursuant to the Notice may be rescinded at the Successor Trustee’s option at any time.  The right is reserved to adjourn the day of the sale to another day, time, and place certain without further publication, upon announcement at the time and place for the sale set forth above.

Title to said real estate is believed to be good, however, the undersigned will sell as Trustee and convey only such interest as vested in him by Rejoice O. Morgan, by virtue of the Deed of Trust.

The City of Camden Mayor and Board of Alderpersons will hold a Public Hearing and Final Reading on Ordinance #RP-2025-1110, to amend the official zoning map of Camden, TN, to rezone the properties located on West Main St., from B-1 (neighborhood commercial) to B-2 (general commercial).

The public hearing and final reading will be held on Monday, December 8, 2025, at the hour of 5:30 p.m. at Camden City Hall.

All interested citizens are invited to attend and comment.
