Estate of KAREN DARLENE STOCKDALE, Deceased

Notice is hereby given that on November 5th  of  2025, letters of administration in respect of the estate of Karen Darlene Stockdale, who died June 3, 2025, were issued to the undersigned by the Chancery Court of Benton County, Tennessee. All persons, resident and non-resident, having claims, matured or unmatured, against the estate are required to file the same with the Clerk of the above-named Court on or before the earlier of the dates prescribed in (1) or (2) otherwise their claims will be forever barred:

(1)       (A) Four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting, as the case may be) of this notice if the creditor received an actual copy of this Notice to Creditors at least sixty (60) days before date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting); or

                            (B) Sixty (60) days from the date the creditor received an actual copy of the Notice to Creditors, if the creditor received the copy of the notice less than sixty (60) days prior to the date that is four (4) months from the date of the first publication (or posting) as described in (1) (A); or 

(2) Twelve (12) months from the decedent’s date of death.

All persons indebted to the above Estate must come forward and make proper settlement with the undersigned at once.

The Benton County Board of Public Utilities will meet in regular monthly session on November 25, 2025 at 3:30 p.m.  at the office of the Board at 975 Hwy 70E, Camden, TN. INVITATION TO BID

The Benton County Highway Department requests bids on supplies. Sealed bids will be received until 4:00 P.M. on December 9, 2025 at which time bids will be opened by the committee. Bids must be marked “BID” on the envelope. Bids will be for one year starting January 1, 2026 and ending December 31, 2026.

The Highway Committee has the right to reject any and or all bids including the low bid. Specifications can be obtained at the Hwy. Dept office M-Th 6:30 A.M. till 5 P.M.

SPECIAL CALLED MEETING

The Benton County Budget Committee and County Commission will hold special called meetings on Tuesday, November 25, 2025, at the Benton County Courthouse. Budget will meet at 5:30 P.M. and the full commission will meet at 6:00 P.M. The topic of discussion will be review and possible approval of two resolutions regarding funds for sewer district projects. All are invited and encouraged to attend.
