It appearing to the Court from the sworn Petition, testimony, or affidavit filed in this cause that the whereabouts of the Defendant, Carol Gregory, including the unknown heirs of Carol Gregory, are presently unknown and cannot be ascertained upon diligent inquiry, so that ordinary process cannot be served upon them. Therefore, this Order of Publication should be published in the Camden Chronicle located in Benton County, Tennessee, as the best possible notice under the circumstances.
The Defendant, Carol Gregory, including the unknown heirs of Carol Gregory, are hereby required to appear and file and answer with Timothy Burrus, the Clerk and Master of the Benton County Chancery Court, Benton County Courthouse, 1 Court Square, Camden, Tennessee, or otherwise defend against the Petition for Partition and serve an answer to said Petition by September 26, 2025, which is no less than (30) days from the last day of publication of this notice, and send a copy of said answer to Marcus D. Noles, Attorney for Plaintiff in this cause whose address is 116 E. Main Street Camden, Tennessee, 38320, or default judgment will be entered against the unknown heirs and this cause set for hearing in the Chancery Court of Benton County, Tennessee, sitting in the Benton County Courthouse in Camden, Tennessee, Defendant, Carol Gregory.
If there is no answer, a hearing on Petitioners’ Motion for Default shall be heard on the next available court date after September 26, 2054.

By the authority granted by a "Order to Sale Property on Complaint for Partition and Sale for Division Pursuant to T.C.A. 29-27-301, ET SEQ" filed in the above styled case on June 9, 2025 and entered of record in Minute Book 88, Page 108, I, Timothy R. Burrus, Special Commissioner, will on August 15, 2025, at 10:00 A.M., offer for sale to the highest and best bidder, the real property in the matter of Michael David Walker v. Tommy Flowers, etals, as set out in said "Order to Sale Property on Complaint for Partition and Sale for Division Pursuant to T.C.A. 29-27-301, ET SEQ ".

Located in the 5th Civil District of Benton County, Tennessee, and being Tax Map 078, Parcel 058.00, in the Assessor’s Office of Benton County, Tennessee, and appearing in Deed Book 176, Page 234, in the Register's Office of Benton County, Tennessee.
TERMS OF SALE:
Said real property will be sold for cash, 10% down on the day of the sale, with the balance due upon confirmation of the sale by the Court. The sale will be held open for ten (10) days (until August 25, 2025 at 12:00 Noon) during which time a person may come into the office of the Clerk and Master at the Benton County Courthouse and raise the highest bid received at the auction by ten percent (10%) and will be required to deposit ten percent (10%) of the raised bid price with the Court. Upon the bid being raised, a second and final auction will be held at the Benton County Courthouse, Chancery Courtroom, 1 Court Square, Camden, Tennessee, on August 25, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. The highest bidder at the second and final auction will be the buyer. Should the bid not be raised, the high bidder from the first sale will be the successful buyer. Possession of the real property will be upon delivery of the deed. The purchaser shall be responsible for all future property taxes from the date of closing forward and shall be prorated at closing.
This property is offered and sold as is, in the present condition, with no warranties or representations, express or implied, not noted herein. While Chancery sales are conclusive upon all parties to the action and generally confer a good title, nevertheless there is no warranty of title. The sale is subject to the confirmation of the Court.

STREET DEPT.
The City of Camden Street Department has an opening for one (1) full-time operator position.
Applicants may apply at the City Clerk’s office located at 110 Hwy 641 South, Camden, TN. Applications will be accepted through Wednesday, August 13, 2025, at the hour of 10:00 a.m. Office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The City of Camden does offer a benefit package which includes paid sick time, vacation, and health insurance.
Minimum requirement of a high school diploma or GED and the applicant must be able to obtain a CDL within first year of employment.
