Different events bring people of all ages into the Benton County Library during the Holiday season. According to Director Susan Hubbs, one of her favorites is the Christmas Tree contest.

The book themed trees are currently throughout the library and the winners receive cash prizes.

Submissions this year included trees about books, “The Fault in our Stars,” “Hotwheels Redline Guide,” and “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”

Trees are decorated by individuals, businesses, and families.

Winners will be announced later this week.

Another fun event is the Library Christmas Open House. On Thursday, frequent visitors stopped by to not only grab up their favorite book at the library, but also a delicious sampling of finger foods and punch.

Door Prizes including movies and books were handed out to lucky recipients.
Hubbs said she loves this time of year and is proud to offer these holiday happenings to all of Benton County.
