The Benton County Senior Center has put up an Angel Tree this Christmas season for the seniors who participate at the center. Anyone who would like to help a senior have a happy holiday is welcome to participate!

To pick an angel from the tree, please drop by the Senior Center at 119 Cole Ave. in Camden between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m., Monday through Friday. Each angel is named for a Benton County senior and tells a few things that the senior might need to enjoy a happy new year.

The kinds of items that seniors might appreciate include a laundry basket filled with laundry detergent, fabric softener, and dryer sheets; items for the kitchen such as dish liquid, paper towels, and sponges; and of course, a fruit basket or snack basket always makes a nice gift. Anything you think the seniors in your life would enjoy, the seniors on the Angel Tree would enjoy also.

All gift items need to be turned in to the Senior Center office by 3 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 16. For more information, contact the Benton County Senior Center at 731-584-4101 and ask for Program Assistant Merriellen Warstler, Assistant Director Joyce Ball, or Director Carol Wallace. Participating in the Benton County Senior Center Angel Tree is sure to be a blessing!
