Dear Camden Chronicle Readers:
For many years I have read The Camden Chronicle. Even though I left Camden after high school graduation in 1972, I will always consider Camden my home. The Chronicle helps me to continue to feel connected with my hometown even though it has changed somewhat, and many relatives and friends have died.
I love books and genealogy. In April, I had the opportunity to spend a little time at your local Benton County Library. The staff were great to help us. I was amazed how wonderful the genealogy room is. There are so many interesting genealogy and research books on various topics. Thank you, Benton County for providing such great resources! Even my husband found information of his home state, New York.
Local residents, please get off the electronic devices long enough to enjoy a day at your local library or perhaps be a volunteer. I would love to volunteer, but live too far away. Thank you for providing a wonderful place to visit. Support your local library, and your local newspaper.
