What a great Thanksgiving! I hope that each of you had safe travels, great food, and time well spent with your friends and family during the Thanksgiving holiday.
My husband, son, and I loved spending time with our families and friends. Each of us know that our own grandmother cooks the best food, but I am telling you, my grandmother’s dressing and dirt cake would qualify as grand prize winners.
Now it’s time for Christmas. To quote Andy Williams, “It’s the most wonderful time of the year!” Time for Christmas decorations, lights, trees, cookies, movies, and time spent in front of the fireplace. Shopping, making homemade gifts, singing Christmas carols, and sharing lots of food. These are just a few of my favorite things, but most important is the time spent with family and friends. I couldn’t imagine spending Christmas anywhere other than right here in Benton County.
While you are out shopping for that perfect Christmas gift, don’t forget to give our local merchants a try. You will be surprised at the fabulous finds we have right here in town! All you have to do is just stop in one of the many stores Benton County has waiting for you.
