Motorcycle safety concerns

Dear Editor,

I wrote about this a year or so ago, but I still see it. I still see folks cut their grass and let the lawnmowers throw the grass in the streets. This is very dangerous, especially to motorcycles. Fresh cut grass is slick, and if you run over it after freshly washing your car, it will sling back up on your vehicle.

I think there should be a law against people doing that. After a motorcycle skids on the grass and gets hurt, it will be too late. Just mow the opposite direction and the clippings will go back on your lawn where they belong.
