Machell Delane McDonald, 56, of Big Sandy, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, at her residence. Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home of Big Sandy was in charge of her cremation.
Mrs. McDonald was born July 9, 1963, in Newport News, Va., to Upton (Judy) Higginbotham, of Foster, Va., and Judy (Thomas) Cockrill, of Ft. Myers, Fla. She was a bus driver for Henry County Board of Education and a member of Ramble Creek Baptist Church in Big Sandy.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her husband, Eugene McDonald; a son, David (Tammie) Erler, of Frankfort, Ky.; a daughter, Rachel Erler, of Meridian, Okla.; a brother, Timothy (Shelly) Higginbotham, of Springhill, Fla.; and two grandchildren, Colby Erler and Brandi Conway.
