Lillie Pearl Laux, 72, of Anchorage, Alaska, passed away Friday, Oct. 4, at her residence in Pikeville. Funeral services were held Tuesday, Oct. 8, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Plunk Funeral Home of Camden, with William V. Clary officiating. Burial followed at the Camden City Cemetery.

Mrs. Laux was born April 2, 1947, in Bruceton, to the late Hershel Hardin and Rosie Owen. She was an active member of the South Anchorage Church of Christ where she honed Bible studies and taught Bible classes.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas Hardin.

She is survived by her husband, Andy Laux; two sons, Michael A. (Heidi) Laux, of Camden, and Donald L. (Kristina) Laux, of Henderson; three daughters, Angela R. Hobbs (Maurice Butts), of Norfolk, Va., Sharon M. (James) Driscoll, of Grand Prairie, Texas, and Ethanie A. (Mark) Cagle, of Pikeville; four brothers, Joe Hardin, of Florida, Paul W. (Sue) Hardin, of Clarksville, Robert M. (Margaret) Hardin, of Huntingdon, and Ricky D. (Cristina) Hardin, of Paris; 14 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Camden Church of Christ Building Fund or the Pat Summit Alzheimer’s Foundation.
