LifeLine Blood Services will host their annual “St. Patrick’s Day” blood drive at their Jackson Center on Thursday, March 16, from 9 a.m.- 6 p.m., at 183 Sterling Farms Dr. in Jackson. West Tennessee is in critical need of O positive, O negative, and A negative blood types, although all donors are welcome.
“We encourage you to be someone’s lucky charm and donate blood. Our donors make a local impact, and every donation saves up to three lives,” said Melinda Reid, with LifeLine Blood Services.
All donors at the St. Patrick’s Day event will receive a T-shirt and a food voucher for a free lunch special from Mulligan’s, located at 1364 Union University Dr. in Jackson. The voucher includes a drink and is valid March 20-31, dine in only.
Donating blood takes about 40 minutes. To save time, donors can fill out a medical form at https://www.lifelinebloodserv.org/online-medical-questionnaire before they arrive to donate blood at the center or at a mobile drive.
