Lewanita Sue Baker, 93, of Holladay, passed away Wednesday, Sept 25, at her residence. Funeral services were held Saturday, Sept. 28, at 4 p.m., in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home of Camden with Donald Franks and Ted Duffey officiating. Burial followed at Flatwoods Cemetery in Holladay.

Mrs. Baker was born Aug. 21, 1926, in Benton County, to the late Samuel L. Pinkley and Bevie Sanders Pinkley. She was a retired Avon representative and a member of Holladay Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husbands, Thomas H. Ashby and Junior Baker, three brothers, Bruce, Jimmy and Billy Pinkley, two sisters, Lounell Knight and Oneta Pinkley, and four stepsons, Danny, Donnie, Gary and Todd Baker.

She is survived by a son, Samuel T. Ashby, of Nashville; four daughters, Charlotte Martin, of Bath Springs, Linda Conrad, Rebecca (Jerrel) Conrad, and Shelia Barnes, all of Holladay; a stepdaughter, Aleisha Baker; a brother, Sam Pinkley, of Gosnell, Ark.; nine grandchildren, Allen D. (Melendia) Hatley, Charlie H. Hatley, Tammi M. Conrad, Christopher R. (Crystal) Conrad, Nathan T. (Natasha) Conrad, Timothy A. Conrad, Jimmy L. Conrad, Kandi (Bryan) Swift, and Phillip J. Barnes; 16 great-grandchildren, Damon (Marla), Emily, Joseph and Jay Hatley, Brooke, Chandler, Jessie, Aaron, Jay, Allie, and Kellen Conrad, Katlyn and Skylar Griggs, Glenn M. Davis, and Eden and Evan Raspberry, and three great-great-grandchildren.
