Christmas – what a wonderful time of the year. Time spent with family. Time spent with friends. Making memories. The smell of the ham coming from the oven and that fresh pecan pie that’s still warm. And remembering that roaring sound of laughter coming from the kitchen table as you play your favorite board game with family (ours happens to be Monopoly).
That crisp paper-ripping sound that happens after everyone’s belly is full and its finally time for all of the anxious children to open their gifts at their grandparents’ house. And my favorite part, that sweet pitter-patter of those tiny feet coming down the hall to see if their good behavior has paid off, and Santa has dropped presents from their wish lists. Let us remember this year, and every year, the reason for the season!
Merry Christmas to all! I hope everyone had the best Christmas ever!

Chamber Spotlight
In this week’s Chamber Spotlight, we would like to highlight Chamber members Veteran Mowers. Ed Ulderich started the mowing business in 1975 which was previously name Ulderich Mowing. The main area of focus at that time was in Carroll County. In 2018, Jonathan Ulderich took over the family business and renamed it Veteran Mowers, due to a long line of Veterans in his family, including himself.
Veteran Mowers offers many services including lawn mowing, landscaping, hydro seeding, spring and fall clean up, leaf removal, pressure washing, water features, pond-less waterfalls, natural ponds, and so much more. Since the snowy season is quickly approaching, Veteran Mowers is now offering liquid deicer and snow removal for residential or commercial/business properties. The snow removal/deicer melts snow away quickly and is environmentally friendly.
Veteran Mowers is expecting to have 4-10 employees in 2019 as they build their clientele. For more information about their services or to schedule an appointment, call Jonathan Ulderich at 731-441-3314. Also make sure you check out their Facebook page for specials! The Benton County/Camden Chamber of Commerce is proud to have Veteran Mowers as a Chamber member and a very important part of the Benton County community!
