As Tropical Storm Barry made its way northbound, Benton County received windy and rainy remnants of the former hurricane beginning on Tuesday.

As it continues, flooding could be a factor as the week progresses. The Weather Channel predicts as much as 3 inches of rain mid-week for Western Tennessee.

The storm hit the Gulf Coast region on Saturday. Ragley received the most precipitation associated with the storm. The southeastern Louisiana town measured 23 inches of rain.

Meteorologists expect the storm to continue its march northward through the remainder of the week.
