David Webb and Kathryn Jastrzembski

An ongoing joint investigation by special agents with the 24th Judicial District Drug Task Force (DTF) and the Drug Investigation Division of the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation (TBI) has resulted in the indictment and arrest of two Camden residents and the seizure of fentanyl and other drugs.

Since last December, DTF officers and TBI agents have worked to target the distribution of fentanyl in Benton County. On Oct. 3, the team presented evidence to a Benton County Grand Jury, which returned indictments charging David Wayne Webb, 52, with two counts of sale and delivery of schedule II (fentanyl) and one count of sale and delivery of schedule II (meth).

A search warrant was obtained for a home in the 5400 block of Hwy. 70 in Camden. On Oct. 11, DTF, TBI, and Benton County Sheriff’s Office personnel executed the search warrant and discovered purple fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other drugs at the residence.

At the home were Webb, who was arrested on his indictments as well as new charges, and Kathryn Elizabeth Jastrzembski, 37, who also was taken into custody. Both were booked into the Benton County Jail.

Webb was charged on his three indicted counts along with possession of schedule II (fentanyl) with intent to sell and deliver, possession of schedule II (meth) with intent to sell and deliver, simple possession of schedule VI (marijuana), and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia. His total bond on all counts was set at $750,000.

Jastrzembski was booked on counts of possession of schedule II (fentanyl) with intent to sell and deliver, possession of schedule II (meth) with intent to sell and deliver, simple possession of schedule VI (marijuana), and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia. Her bond was set at $25,000.
