A PRESIDENTIAL FAREWELL – The 41st President of the United States, President George Herbert Walker Bush, a World War II naval aviator, died on November 30 at the age of 94. Soon after the news broke, his son, George W. Bush and the 43rd President of the United States said, “Jeb, Neil, Marvin, Doro, and I are saddened to announce after 94 remarkable years, our dear Dad has died. He was a man of highest character and the best dad a son or daughter could ask for. The entire Bush family is deeply grateful for 41’s life and love, for the compassion of those who have cared and prayed for Dad, and for the condolences of our friends and fellow citizens.” On Sunday, Evan Sisley from the Office of George H.W. Bush, shared a photo of the President’s service dog, Sully, lying in front of the casket in Houston. Post White House spokesman for Bush, Jim McGrath, tweeted, “Mission Complete. #Remembering41 underneath the photo.
