When country music artist Eric Burgett was looking for a classic model Cadillac for his new country music video, Swing Low, Sweet Old Cadillac,” he found one at the home of Kenny and Judy Arnold. In addition, he also found a set location and video stars at the home on Reynoldsburg Rd.
Burgett needed an older model Cadillac for his latest video featuring the car at Hardee’s Restaurant. His producers contacted a specialty car rental service in Nashville that a former employee of Arnold Fabricating and Machine, Hunter Kesse worked. Kesse directed Burgett’s crew to reach out to the Arnolds in Camden knowing they had 1959 Cadillac that would fit the bill. They did and Kenny Arnold welcomed the crew out to see the car.
When the production crew showed up at the Arnold farm, not only did they love the car, but they thought the property to was the exact location they needed for the video. Arnold agreed to allow the filming in the pasture with one stipulation, the Arnold grandkids be included in the video.
With everyone in agreement, the video was shot and five grandchildren and one great-grandchild were filmed in the video. The Arnold children in the video included, Matthew, Luke, Jon and Ben Arnold, Angelica Jones and Rhett Leonard.
The video is now available on YouTube by searching, “Eric Burgett, Swing Low, Sweet Old Cadillac.”
