Cora D. Pierpoint 1925-2020

Cora Dean Pierpoint, 95, of Camden, passed away Friday, July 31, at her residence. Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 3, at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Plunk Funeral Home of Camden with Mark Hollingsworth officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery. 

Mrs. Pierpoint was born April 20, 1925, in Camden, to the late Carlas Hicks and Pearl M. Smothers Hicks.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Melvin W. Pierpoint, a brother, James B. Hicks, a brother-in-law, Henry Phillips, and a granddaughter, Mindy Pierpoint.

She is survived by a daughter, Lisa (Sam) Hampton, of Camden; two sons, Gary (Jenifer) Pierpoint, of Camden, and Robin (Sherry) Pierpoint, of Big Sandy; two sisters, Hazel (John) Atchison and Lela M. Phillips, eight grandchildren, Jeremy (Tami) Hampton, Ryane (Ben) Lowe, April (Daniel) Petreman, Brandon (Alicia) Pierpoint, Thomas (Melissa) Pierpoint, Brody Pierpoint, Greg Pierpoint, and Melanie (Seth) Parker, and seven great-grandchildren, Bennett and Rylen Lowe, Rogue, Asher and Grae Hampton, Axel Pierpoint and Peyton Parker.
