Clement J. (C.J.) Hilton took over the reigns as Chemours Johnsonville Plant manager on Monday, April 1. The former Plant Manager Greg Martz retired last week after more than seven years in the position.

Hilton has extensive experience with Chemours, formerly DuPont. According to published reports, Hilton started his career in Delisle, Miss., and after various managing positions, became plant manager for DuPont’s Heavy Mineral Mine in Starke, Fla., where he remained until Dec. 2017. Hilton comes to the Chemours Johnsonville Plant from Wilmington, Del., where he has been the sourcing and logistics senior manager for just over a year.

Hilton agreed to an interview later this month.
