Nominations sought for awards

The Benton County/Camden Chamber of Commerce has set the date for their annual membership banquet. The banquet will be held at Camden First Assembly and is planned for 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 16. The event will feature several awards presentations to local businesses and individuals.

In preparation for the banquet, Chamber Director Lorie Matlock is asking Chamber members to nominate member businesses for the awards of Business of the Year and New Business of the Year.

In addition to these business awards, nominations also are sought for the Stanley Hooten Volunteer of the Year award, the John Latham Tourism Award, and the Lifetime Achievement Award. This is a great opportunity to recognize those in our community who really make a difference in the lives of others.

Nominations should be emailed to Matlock at [email protected]. The nomination deadline is Monday, Feb. 6. For more information, call the Chamber at 731-584-8395.
