On Tuesday, Oct. 11, Camden Water Superintendent John Beasley (left) was recognized by Mayor Roger Pafford for 20 years of service to the Camden Water Department, the last six of which have been served as superintendent. “We are very grateful to John for the hard work and dedication he has shown to the City of Camden and congratulate him for reaching the milestone of 20 years with the water department,” said Pafford. In addition to his hard work for the city, Beasley also serves as firefighter for the Camden Fire Department (since 2003), as Unit Director of the Benton County Rescue Squad (member since 2004), and as a new member of the Benton County Industrial Board. Beasley is a Benton County native, a 6-year Veteran of the U.S. Navy, a former defense contractor for the Naval Space Warfare Command in San Diego, Calif., and a very proud dad of his son Colt.
