Camden natives earn degrees

James McCampbell

The McCampbell family of Camden is proud to announce the graduation of James McCampbell from Middle Tennessee State University on Saturday, Aug. 6. He received a B.S. from the College of Behavioral and Health Sciences, graduating summa cum laude with a 4.0 GPA.
McCampbell majored in criminal justice administration/law enforcement with a minor in psychology. He is a member of the National Society of Leadership and Success and the Phi Kappa Phi honors society.
While at MTSU, McCampbell interned with the Smyrna Police Department. He plans to put his degree and his experience in Smyrna to use serving the public in law enforcement.
In other college news, Austin Peay State University is proud to recognize Gwyneth Terry, of Camden, as one of the more than 500 graduates to receive degrees at the summer commencement ceremony on Friday, Aug. 5. A graduate of Camden Central High School, Terry is an eighth-grade teacher of English/language arts.
