Big Sandy man to face grand jury in October

    FACING GRAND JURY - Exiting the Benton County Courthouse with Chief Deputy Jason Lowery on Friday, James Greer will face a grand jury in October in the case of allegedly killing his 4-year-old son in a D.U.I. case from an automobile accident in April.

    During a preliminary hearing for James Greer, Judge John Whitworth ruled the state presented sufficient evidence to bind the case over to a grand jury in October. Greer, 52, is charged with driving under the influence of drugs and alcohol and causing a crash that resulted in the death of his 4-year-old son on April 27.
