Big Sandy Little League is hosting its first fall league this year.  The league had over 100 players sign up from all over Benton County.  The season will be played throughout all of September, ending mid-October.

The Big Sandy Little League is organized by volunteers, including President Tiffany Phifer and Vice President Charley Medlin, who spend countless hours ensuring each season runs smoothly. There are 10 teams, comprised of three T-Ball, two coach pitch, and five kid pitch squads.

The league is funded through donations, applicant and sponsorship fees, and concession stand profits.  The league tries to keep registration fees affordable despite the rising cost of supplies and materials.

In September, games will be held on Monday, Tuesday, and Friday evenings, starting on Monday, Sept. 12, through Tuesday, Sept. 27. In October, games will be held on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday nights, beginning Monday, Oct. 3, through Friday, Oct. 20. Each night, games will begin at 5:30 p.m.

If you are interested in helping this league grow and supporting Benton County children, come out to the games at the Big Sandy Ballpark, grab dinner or Dippin’ Dots at the concession stand, and cheer on our youth!
