The Benton County Drug Alliance is reforming to become the Benton County Prevention Coalition.  Just as the name suggests, the group will now focus on preventing things that are detrimental to the children of Benton County beyond the scope of drug abuse.

Meetings of the Benton County Prevention Coalition will be held on the first Thursday of each month. The next meeting is scheduled for 5 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 1, at Country and Western Restaurant. Attendees can order dinner and participate in the meeting, too.

About 40 members are needed to represent Benton County and help decide what problems to focus on and how to tackle them. Come work with us to make the lives of the children of Benton County better! For more information, contact Courtney Brackeen at [email protected] or James Inman at [email protected].
